Promoting a Prosperous Economy

As your elected Supervisor, James will work with you and the Mendocino County Farm Bureau to make sure agriculture interests are represented and protected. Mendocino County, however, is more than just agriculture. We have a large medical industry and many successful small businesses that need promotion and qualified workers to stay healthy and sustainable.

Fire Safety & Threat Awareness

As a rural community, we need to make sure all neighborhoods and regions are fully prepared to deal with fire and similar emergencies immediately. Every resident needs to know their plan, and all county leaders need to help. James’s involvement with the Mendocino County Fire Safe Council has taught him many lessons on how to be better prepared.

Housing is a critical issue for any prosperous and thriving community. As county leaders, its imperative to make sure growth is met responsibly and remains in line with our values of respect for the environment, open space and recreation.
